• Event data: Event name, date, settings, and customizations you configure.
• Guest uploads: Photos and videos uploaded by guests, along with guest form responses.
• Usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited.
• Payment data: Billing information processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store full card details.
• Cookie data: Session and preference cookies to keep the platform functional.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate and improve the FotoQR platform.
• Create and manage your events and galleries.
• Enable photo and video sharing among event participants.
• Process payments and manage your subscription or purchase.
• Send transactional emails and respond to support requests.
• Detect abuse, fraud, and security threats, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your uploaded content to train machine learning models or sell it to third parties.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only in the following cases:

• Service providers: Cloud hosting, payment processing, and email delivery providers who process data on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.
• Business transfers: In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred with appropriate notice.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Guest Data

When guests upload photos or fill in a form at your event, they provide data to you as the event organizer. FotoQR processes this data on your behalf and does not independently use it beyond operating the service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Free Trial events are active for 14 days. On Pro, photos and videos are stored for 12 months; retention for Business and Enterprise plans depends on your plan and usage terms.

If your plan expires or becomes inactive, we will notify you at least 30 days before deleting your data. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a portable copy of your data.

7. Cookies

FotoQR uses cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

FotoQR is not directed at children under the age of 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable precautions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of FotoQR after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
