Fair Usage Policy

This policy explains how FotoQR provides unlimited usage claims in a transparent and sustainable way for real event use.

1. Purpose of This Policy

FotoQR is designed to make photo and video collection easier for events. This Fair Usage Policy helps keep the service fast, reliable, and safe for all customers.

2. Normal Event Use

Unlimited upload, participant, or storage language in our plans is intended to cover real event needs such as weddings, parties, business events, school events, venue events, and similar use cases.

FotoQR should not be used as a general-purpose cloud storage, backup, or file sharing service.

3. Prohibited or Unusual Use

The following uses are not covered by fair usage:

  • Archiving or backing up files that are unrelated to an event.
  • Using bots, automation, or scripts to create bulk or artificial uploads.
  • Uploading spam, malware, illegal content, or media that infringes third-party rights.
  • Using FotoQR infrastructure as a general file distribution or third-party storage service.
  • Creating unusual traffic that negatively affects service performance or other customers.

4. Active Events and Business Use

Monthly active event limits on Business plans are counted when an event starts receiving uploads. Entering an event date or preparing an event page does not use an active event slot by itself.

Unused active event allowances do not roll over to the next month. Customers with higher active event volume or special usage needs may be better served by Enterprise.

5. What Happens With Unusual Usage?

If your usage clearly falls outside normal event needs, we may contact you to review it. If needed, we may suggest a more suitable plan, apply temporary limits, or suspend access in cases of abuse.

Our goal is not to restrict normal event use. The goal is to keep FotoQR sustainable and reliable for everyone.

6. Enterprise and Custom Use

If you need high active event volume, custom domain, advanced customizations, priority support, or unusual media volume, custom usage terms may be defined under an Enterprise plan.
